What's Your Story?

Rosemary Ferguson and Jake Chapman hiding a kiss, Vogue, 2004

Do you have a dress worn on a special occasion? Are you holding on to the dress for its memory? What if you could tell your dress story, and then let that dress make a lasting difference in the life of a young scholar? We would like you to share your dress story here, the stories not many know, and the great photos not many have seen. Share your favorite moments, best photos, all the fun the details with us, to be posted here when you donate your dress to support education in Africa.

Your memorable dress can transform someone else's entire lifetime.

How to help?
We accept dresses year round for specific trips to Malawi. We need like-new bridal, bridesmaid and formal dresses in great condition, ideally from the past five years.
Step 1. Take a photo of your dress and email it to us at twiceuponadress@gmail.com
Step 2. We reply with the next deadline and closest mailing address.
Step 3. Package and ship your dress.
Step 4. Be sure to email us your dress story:
-Event
-Event date
-Quality photo of the special event (250 pixels+)

Please follow us here and at Facebook and Twitter. We will be featuring your dress stories on this blog. Those dresses will be sold in Africa to support education of young scholars, whose stories we will also tell here.
